Situated against the splendid backdrop of the Costa Smeralda, the main objective was to achieve the best combination of functionality and luxury. MiniatiLab was responsible for creating the custom-made furnishings for the interior and exterior areas of the Villa, covering a surface area of 1270 sqm, following the guidelines of Exclusiva Design, who commissioned us to work on the project.
A survey was carried out to measure the environments using a high precision scanner, followed by the working plan for each individual element, resolving any construction problems. We provided 500 sq. m of panelling in natural Tabu wood (all the panelling features 45° cuts and shutters that follow the flowing lines of the rooms), as well as 18 doors including standard, swing and sliding doors, all with custom-made handles and high quality hardware. Apart from the woodwork, the project included polished steel with wood inlay, mother of pearl lacquering, and details in brass and other high quality materials for the handles. The key aspect of the project is the harmony of all the elements: the colours of the natural wood, the lacquering and a play of glass and mirrors in dialogue with the surrounding landscape.
On-site installation by our own team made it possible to achieve a perfect union between what was pre-assembled in the workshop and the completed job. It was an impressive challenge, particularly in the use of top quality workmanship and materials and in terms of the high quality required for the job.
